For the VDMSync operator

This section is only for the VDMSync system administrator (the service operator). Organization users do not see these screens.

The operator signs in with the Account field left empty. The operator menu has one group, CRM: Agents, Users, Accounts, Roles, Synchronizations, System settings.

Accounts

Add account / Edit account:

Name and Domain: the domain is the account name users type into the Account field when signing in.
Subdomain (optional): sign in at <subdomain>.vdmsync.com without typing the account.
Contact, address, timezone, logo.
Agent limit: how many agents the organization may have (0 = no limit).
Active: a blocked account cannot sign in; its machines keep working offline.
Require two-step sign-in from every user.
Generate test data (only when adding): 2 clients, 4 locations and 4 machines with anonymized SupplyPoint data. Takes a few minutes in the background.

Deleting an account removes it together with its roles and cannot be undone.

Agents

The operator creates agents (Add agent) and edits them: name, description, model, serial number, location (it cannot be changed after creation) and the SupplyPoint Database connection. A connection change is sent to the agent on save.

Extra operator actions:

the Synchronizations tab on the agent page and the Synchronizations screen: the list of syncs (start, finish, duration, status) and Roll back. Rolling back restores the data of the previous sync; the next scheduled sync uploads it again;
Disable agent: the agent stops syncing. Its vending machines keep working offline, but their withdrawals do not reach VDMSync.

System settings

The list of reports with On / Off switches and Turn all on / Turn all off. A report turned off disappears from the reports list for every user.

In the Users list: row menu → Sign in as user. You see VDMSync exactly as that person does, with the full organization menu. To return, sign out and sign in to your own account.
